Large directories like Homes.com, Trulia and other’s have an unfair advantage over organic results. How can a little guy in Virginia Beach with a 20 page website complete with a directory containing +3000 listings for Virginia Beach.
I am waiting for the day when a new search engine innovator will display directories separately, much the same way they handle, video images and so on…
I remember when a hurricane was headed for Virginia Beach. On the 700 Club, Robertson led a prayer for the hurricane to head North and miss the Virginia coast. It did move North and Robertson claimed that the prayer had saved Virginia Beach.
When the hurricane hit in the Northeast, Long Island IIRC, I always wondered if Robertson would accept the blame as well as the credit.

That’s more like 20-30 minutes, depending on traffic. You just hop on I-64 to the I-264 interchange, then it’s smooth sailing all the way to the oceanfront.
