This Velazquez painting is famous for its perspective. They say that in this painting he captured even the air, the depth of the room. If you lighten it up you will see the pictures on the back wall of the room and the lamps hanging from the ceiling. Some think that it is the Western world's greatest painting because of its atmosphere. I do not understand this kind of thing at all. I do not believe that you can make either sense or money (or both) of this world without conflict, and so I love Goya.

I would agree that the painting is as uninteresting as a snapshot of a current day wealthy family lounging in their rooms before or after some outing. He captured the air all right. The air of privileged dullness. But what's not to understand? I guess you prefer the drama of the firing squad?
En la Plaza del Sol de Madrid algunos villancríticos. La acción se enmarca en LOS LUNES AL SOL, una concentración simbólica cada tercer lunes de mes para protestar contra las falsas salidas de la crisis, es decir, aquellas que se promocionan desde el gobierno y empresas (como el consumo), a pesar de evidenciarse que no nos sacan de la crisis social, ambiental, laboral… que vivimos.
In Madrid there’s quite a few places to go…Near Plaza del Sol there’s some Irish pubs that are really popular with tourists called Dubliners and O’Connells. For more of a nightclub in the same area there’s always Club Joy and Kapital. Kapital is this huge, multi-level club that can get pretty crazy. it’s not really my scene, but a lot of people seem to like it. Also Calle Huertas has a lot of bars that are a little less touristy, although you can still find a lot of English speakers. I live here and if you need more recommendations just pm me and I’ll be happy to help.

Si el problema hubiera sido la limpieza. ¿No podrían haber accedido a limpiar el personal de limpieza de las calles, debidamente identificado al campamento? ¿No se hubiera podido arreglar de algún modo?
