Cosa vedere a Madrid? Con i suoi 88 monumenti, i suoi 39 prestigiosi musei e una miriade di luoghi d’interesse, c’è davvero l’imbarazzo della scelta! Ma se nella nostra movimentata vacanza in Spagna, abbiamo a disposizione soltanto 2 giorni per visitare la sua affascinante capitale, ci conviene pianificare per bene il nostro viaggio cercando di concentrarci sulle attrazioni principali della città. Uno dei vanti di Madrid è certamente il Prado, uno dei musei più importanti della Terra che raccoglie dipinti come quelli ad esempio di Caravaggio, Goya e Raffaello, che hanno fatto la storia dell’arte del Vecchio Continente. A Plaza del Sol si concentra invece la vita della caliente capitale spagnola famosa per la sua sorprendente movida. Proseguendo poi lungo Calle Mayor approdiamo al Palazzo Reale e alla Cattedrale dell’Almudena. Tra le piazze più belle di Madrid, ricordiamo Plaza de Espana, impreziosita dal monumento a Cervantes e l’affascinante Plaza Cibeles. Ma l’eccentrica capitale…

This Velazquez painting is famous for its perspective. They say that in this painting he captured even the air, the depth of the room. If you lighten it up you will see the pictures on the back wall of the room and the lamps hanging from the ceiling. Some think that it is the Western world's greatest painting because of its atmosphere. I do not understand this kind of thing at all. I do not believe that you can make either sense or money (or both) of this world without conflict, and so I love Goya.

So you believe that all is a struggle? You don't understand what? I would agree that the painting is as uninteresting as a snapshot of a current day wealthy family lounging in their rooms before or after some outing. He captured the air all right. The air of privileged dullness. But what's not to understand? I guess you prefer the drama of the firing squad?
Esto tampoco significa que esté absolutamente en desacuerdo con todas las proposiciones vertidas en los sucesivos manifiestos… puede que alguna de ellas pudiera ser tratable, pero no es representativa del movimiento, esté es un movimiento reduccionista, le falta la emergencia propia de los sistemas maduros, y es por ellos que carece interpretación holínista aceptable salvando las “creativas” frases que adornan los cartones de la plaza del Sol.
In relazione a questo: “è inimmaginabile che la Guardia Civil reagisca – su impulso del ministro degli interni Rubalcaba, quasi sicuramente il prossimo candidato premier del PSOE – con la forza, reprimendo la protesta. Se così fosse si porrebbe un cambio di paradigma radicale, ma è un’ipotesi che non voglio neppure sfiorare” vorrei precisare pure io che la Guardia Civil esercita le competenze di pubblica sicurezza esclusivamente in ambito rurale, fuori delle grandi città, come fa in Francia la Gendarmerie. Non credo che Federico Martire abbia visto nessun guardia civil in piazza a Madrid. Semplicemente non possono venirci secondo la legge. Magari si dovrebbe essere veramente sicuro delle proprie competenze di osservatore asettico oppure emozionato («Io in Plaza del Sol ci sono stato, e voglio raccontarvi il mio punto di vista. Nel pezzo che segue non realizzo una cronaca asettica di ciò che ho visto») prima di mettersi a fare un’analisi di qualsiasi realtà che è ovviamente strana all’osservatore. Mi dà che non sarà l’ultima lezione che ci darà il movimento 15-M.
